Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of MiniGantt, including the website at https://minigantt.com and the MiniGantt application (together, the Service). By creating an account, signing in (including with Google), or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

1. The Service

MiniGantt is a cloud-based project and task management Service. Depending on your plan and settings, features may include Kanban boards, Gantt views, assignments, comments, file attachments, team chat, calendar/meetings, time tracking, reports, notifications, and optional AI-assisted helpers (such as task time estimates).

We may improve, add, or remove features as the product evolves. Material plan limits and pricing are described on the website and in your account. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain unchanged forever.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or older if required by local law) to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Enable available security options (such as email two-factor authentication) where appropriate.
  • You may sign in with email/password or Google Sign-In where offered. If you link a Google account, you remain responsible for that Google account’s security.
  • You may not share accounts in a way that circumvents plan limits, create accounts by automated means without permission, or impersonate others.
  • Acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy is required to register and continue using the Service.

3. Free and paid plans

The Service is offered on Free and paid plans (for example Pro, Pro Plus, and Business). Features, seat/project/task limits, and prices are published on the website and in the app and may change with notice as described in these Terms.

The Free plan can be used without a credit card. Paid plans require valid payment details and are billed according to the plan and interval you select at checkout.

If you reach plan limits, you may need to upgrade, remove items, or reduce seats to continue using affected features.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Paid plans renew monthly or yearly as selected, until cancelled or changed.
  • Prices are shown in the app and at checkout. For EU customers, VAT is calculated based on billing information and applicable tax rules. A valid EU VAT number may qualify for reverse charge where the law allows.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider. Official invoices may be issued through our invoicing provider after successful payment.
  • You can manage upgrades, downgrades to Free, and cancellation of paid billing from your account, subject to the options shown there.
  • Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable when you cancel mid-cycle. Access to paid features generally continues until the end of the paid period.
  • We may suspend or restrict paid features if payment fails, until billing is restored.

5. Workspaces, invitations, and your content

You and your teammates may create content in the Service (projects, tasks, files, messages, and similar data — “User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide support.

You are responsible for User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights to upload and share it. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content, or content that violates others’ privacy or intellectual property rights.

Workspace owners and admins control invitations and access. You are responsible for the people you invite and for the permissions you grant.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable law,
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data,
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by mandatory law,
  • distribute malware, spam, or abusive communications,
  • scrape or automate access in a way that harms the Service or bypasses technical limits,
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a competing standalone offering without our written permission,
  • misuse optional AI features (for example by submitting unlawful content or attempting to extract model weights or system prompts).

We may investigate violations and may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others.

7. Optional AI features

Some features may use third-party AI providers to generate suggestions (such as estimated task duration). AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to rely on any AI-generated suggestion. Do not submit sensitive personal data to AI features unless necessary and lawful.

8. Intellectual property

The Service software, branding, design, documentation, and related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly allowed.

“MiniGantt” and related marks are used to identify the Service. You may not use our marks in a misleading way.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third parties (for example Google Sign-In, payment processors, email delivery, hosting, or AI providers). Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Availability, changes, and beta features

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, outages, or events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary unavailability.

We may modify the Service, including plan features and limits. If a change materially reduces paid functionality, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

Beta or experimental features may be offered “as is”, may be unstable, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) EUR 50, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law (including liability for intentional misconduct or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limits are prohibited).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel paid billing or request account deletion as described in the product or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

After account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://minigantt.com/terms. Archived versions remain viewable. For material changes, we may notify you in the Service or by email and may require renewed acceptance before you continue.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived.

The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably. Where court proceedings are permitted, courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rights.
